Nice modern hotel however not in a convenient area and very noisy from the main road in front of the hotel. Nice breakfast but restaurants were dead in the evening and wine overpriced. We had a lovely stay at the Ace Hotel Athens. The room was lovely, the bed was super comfortable, the pool area was beautiful and the food was delicious. Also the communal area inside was stunning! However, it felt a bit chaotic around the hotel and in the restaurant. We weren't advised there was going to be an event (pool party) the next day until we checked in, so the pool was closed in the morning to prepare for the event, sadly we couldn't use it. We also waited a long time for breakfast. One of the servers did mention it was an unexpectedly busy morning, assuming this was also because of the event too.

Club resort style hotel

Lovely hotel in a quiet location, near to the beach by taxi 10 mins, walking 20 mins. Hotel was beautifully decorated, staff were all lovely and friendly. The sea view rooms were better as not over the pool with all the music noise. My room had a leak from the shower in to the toilet and bedroom, which didn't get fixed after 4 nights. The pool area was lovely although they have about 25 massive speakers all around the pool area playing music non-stop all day long, which at times can be a bit annoying, and a few times I had to ask if they can turn it down a bit, 80db especially the speakers are right by your head. But they understood. Its more for younger people who like music all day long, but not very relaxing. The breakfast was ok, but bit basic and slow to get any service or help. The front desk and bar staff were very attentative and couldn't do enough to help. A great place to stay with friends for just a few days to party, but not if you want peace and quiet.
