We loved our stay!
Beautiful small, quiet, safe resort with a super friendly, talented staff! Caren, Esmerelda and Seleny in reception were so knowledgeable and helpful in answering our questions ahead of time through WhatsApp and while we were there. They booked our hopper flight and the shuttle from the San Pedro airport, as well as snorkeling tours from right there at the resort. Our suite was very nice. Fully appointed kitchen, decorated nicely, super clean, with a very comfortable king bed. Loved the pool area and daily happy hour with Tua and Freddy at the swim-up bar! And also the fact that the sister resort would deliver food to the bar or our room, as there's no restaurant on-site. Rented our golf cart on-site with Ricardo, also very knowledgeable and friendly! Very close by was a little market with fresh produce, meats, etc, as well as a couple little restaurants right at the resort entrance. We loved it there!

10/10 - so relaxing!
The absolute FRIENDLIEST staff. Rooms were clean and so comfortable. Water is provided. Pool was clean and quiet, with plenty to keep the kids busy. Food next door and coffee across the street was delicious, drinks too. 10/10 would stay again. 5 of us in a suite, ranging from 6 to 74 years old and no complaints.

Everything about our stay was amazing, from the reservation to the airport shuttle to the property to the staff. They made everything so easy! Take the shuttle from the airport and rent your golf cart at the property. We loved that one of the highest rated tour companies docked at the property where we did 2 snorkeling tours and a sunset cruise. The pool is beautiful and the hot tub is hot. The sunrise from the property is spectacular. The grounds are exceptionally well kept.

Great staff, great stay!
We booked Belizian Shores based on the reviews. This hotel is great and very family friendly. The staff were all very kind, flexible, and accommodating. The resort has a great pool and our kids loved it. It also has nice grounds and great amenities; we didn't have time to enjoy most of them, but other families seemed to like them. We also really liked that they are beachfront and have a highly rated tour company (Tuff e Nuff) is a one minute walk on the dock. We booked two tours with them, both of which were great. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!

Most outstanding resort experience in my life
Amazing experience and service was outstanding!! Our flight was delayed and got us in a day later! The front desk staff was so amazingly accommodating and pushed back our reservation a day with no extra charge. We changed our arrival pickup from the airport to the water taxi and the driver met us-was there waiting for us as we got off the water taxi. We hadn't eaten all day and he graciously dropped us to pick up food before heading to the hotel-and gave us advice of which restaurants were good in the area. When we arrived to our hotel, we were greeted with kindness! It was my birthday and they decorated the bed and had a nice card welcoming us in for my birthday! Our 2nd to last day there, it rained very heavily and the golf cart that we rented from the resort stalled and wouldn't restart. The agent came right away from the hotel to pick us up and get us safely back to the resort and switch out our golf carts. They responded swiftly and with such kindness. My very last day, I realized I left my iPad in the room and they sent the iPad with the driver who was picking up guests for the shuttle that arrived to the airport after ours! Again they responded quickly and promptly with such graciousness and kindness! I cannot thank these people enough for their professionalism and promptness, their welcoming attitudes and kindness! I will be back! 10/10 resort experience!

Typical resort and great place for families with older kids. If you have younger kids stay next door at Coco Beach. Food is very average but in lobster season there are lots of good options for fresh lobster and some other seafoods. The other food is quite North American and deepfried. Toowa the bartender is awesome and really makes you feel invited and welcome. Golf carts are for rent and are in very good shape, amenities are all very well taken care of and the pool is super clean. Great place, quite pricey but if resort style travel is your thing then its comfortable enough in a very nice setting. Only major comlaint was the HVAC in the room only went to 74 degrees so we slept very hot and uncomfortably.

The best resort in Belize
This resort has the best front desk staff who goes the extra mile to ensure that their guests have an excellent experience in San Pedro. They are friendly and caring. They were immensely helpful in arranging a shuttle to get picked up from the water taxi terminal and back, arranging a taxi to get to tour meeting points, renting a golf cart to get around the island, and helping to select and arrange resort tours, some times at very short notice. The rooms are elegant and spacious. The resort surroundings are quiet, grounds are beautifully maintained, and has easy access to the beach. The resort provides a good selection of snorkeling and main island tours and the snorkeling tours leave right from the hotel dock which is a minute or two walk from the rooms. Choosing this resort will make your stay in Belize a very memorable one!

We loved everything. We had an amazing view of the pool, and could see the ocean too. All the staff we encountered were friendly. We really enjoyed the poolside bar, and bartenders (Suga, and Freddy). Kayaking at the beach was a nice relaxing family activity.

Outstanding property w/exemplary staff & service
We had planned and were very much excited for our stay at Belizean Shores Resort ( BSR) returning to San Pedro after our initial visit a couple years ago further North. We chose BSR wishing to be somewhat closer to town and to Secret beach and loved every thing about this small well appointed and truly beautiful resort - it did not disappoint but exceeded our expectations. From the lovely garden setting the direct access to a small beach and a delightful jetty and dock, to the thoughtful positioning of sun chairs and hammocks on the shoreline the volleyball ball area ping pong and tennis court together with complimentary kayaks and paddle-boards and an on site snorkel, fishing and diving business this cozy resort excelled at providing an impressive number of amenities

Well appointed property with a kids friendly pool. Staff was very accommodative and also supported our request for a late check-out. The sea view units have a fabulous view and many tours operate from the resort dock itself.

The staff went over and beyond to make my birthday trip a success. They work as a team and was very informative. This place is close to the truck stop and Secret beach. You have to drive just a little ways from downtown but it’s an adventure on the golf cart. Room service is provided through their sister property but was speedy with delivery. If you want spa treatment it’s cheaper to get it through Belizean Shore rather than the sister property which does the treatment anyway but prices are different.

Phenomenal Experience
Belizean Shores was absolutely amazing. The worst part about the resort was having to leave it! I’m trying to think of ANY complaints but I seriously have none 🥹 book this place and you will not regret ❤️
