Location great kids liked it
So I held off writing my review as I knew I was coming again and wanted to compare my two stays here First stay was 21-25 July with the kids I managed to find a good deal for 3 of us for all inc paid £413 through hotels.com Check in was easy we were on the 4th floor room 402 there were twin beds and a pull out bed the room was ok air con worked great we had an inland view the balcony was small and very windy had to be careful with leaving stuff outside the bathroom kept flooding with the shower good temperature and good pressure The pool area was a good size and water lovely and warm kids loved the pool area as u we’re allowed lilos and balls so kept the kids entertained the food was average breakfast was the best part of the meals kids loved the snacks u get which is ur usual burgers in buns chips nuggets etc u had a pool attendant who kept the pool area clean and tody however I think it lacked bins around the pool Dinner was ok different themes each day wasn’t keen on the Mexican Lunch was ok but it did the kids as they needed the food to keep going staff friendly and helpful The hotel does need updating and modernising the room only had one plug socket which wasn’t enough to charge all our devices Overall kids enjoyed it which was the main thing there r plenty of sun loungers and plenty of seats personally the staff could go and clean more of the bar seating area they just seem to leave the left over cups for a while and don’t seem to wipe the tables as often as

The hotel is dated and in need of a refurbishment,it has not altered in five years. Other hotels in protaras have been updated but not this one yet. The food was average occasionally the evening meal was excellent but not very often. The staff tried their best but they didn’t seem very happy.

Trevligt hotell som uppfyllde mina krav! Väldigt nice pool och gott om solstolar. Hade bara frukost inkluderat och den var bra men lite kall. Men pannkakorna var väldigt goda! Trevlig personal speciellt i receptionen. Nära till the main street med många barer restauranger och affärer. Samt nära till havet. Finns busstation med buss till ayia napa 1 min från hotellet. Det är ett äldre hotell men tyckte det var bra för priset!

В целом, хорошо. Отличные ужины: вкусно и разнообразно, приемлемые завтраки, но все жареное. Расположение: до моря минут 5, пляж отличный, 5 минут до LIDL. Интернета нет, но можно купить по бешеным ценам почасовой (!!!) Wi-Fi. Холодильник платный, но в нашем был сломан замок - денег не брали. Сначала дали в усмерть прокуренный номер. Номер прямо над их внутренним баром, видимо, причина в этом. После небольших переговоров номер заменили, но опять дали первый этаж... Вид из окна никакой. На верхних этажах должно быть лучше. Сам номер на троечку - все старое, но сантехника рабочая. Реальный минус - грязь в номерах. Не помогают даже чаевые горничным - они просто возят мокрой тряпкой, перетаскивая грязь из угла в угол, но чище не становится. Убираться не умеют. После уборки в номере воняет кислыми тряпками. За 7 суток белье не поменяли ни разу, в постели чужие волосы.. При этом, сама территория отеля содержится в идеальной чистоте. Парадокс. Персонал вежливый, но на ресепшн неприветливые тетки. 90% гостей - из России и с детьми, соотв. давки/вопли в столовой и прочие радости :) Если станет скучно, можно починить неработающий, прикрученный болтами к ящику тумбочки (!!!) фен: скорее всего там отвалился провод. Вам понадобиться: отвертка или (как в моем случае) щипцы для ногтей и пластиковая вилка. Отель для суровых русских людей, приехавших на море, а не в отель и понимающих, что такое соотношение цена/качество.

Vi havde en dejlig ferie på Antigoni. Dog var buffeten ikke så varieret og spændende. Dejligt poolområde, underholdningen var ok, meget sødt og venligt personale. Hotellet ligger tæt på både strand, shopping og stort udvalg af restauranter. Alt i alt en rigtig god ferie..

Hotel Antigoni, Protaras, Cyprus
The hotel was very nice and clean and VERY close to the main street in Protaras. We booked a room with double bed but had to change to a room with two single beds since the double bed was impossible to sleep in. It was as lying on the floor, hard as stone!!! But hotel was very helpful and understanding and changed without any delay. The room with view over pool, centre town and sea was very nice. The noice from the pool was zero, however count on hearing music and such from the bars on the main street. Not disturbing though if balcony door is closed. The room was ok standard and all romms have balconies. Clean and towels changed every day. With half pension we received breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was very nice with all you could ask for on the buffé, however dinner buffé was not top class but still eatable food. 3 different dishes with either potatoe rice or pasta, some vegetables and 3 different desserts and ice cream. They are very afraid of spices in the food however on the hotels and it takes some pepper and salt to make it ok. Ice cream was lovely!!! The personel was very kind ad helpful and fast to swipe away plates that were empty. Drink was to be paid for and a 75 cl bottle of still water cost approx EUR 2,20!!!! The pool was very nice, clean and calm. In October when we visited the main audience was english people +55 yrs. So very calm. It was a 200 m walk from main street and about 500 m to the beach. We went for a trip very early one morning and the hotel was kind to make a small "picnic" bag that replaced the breakfast, however two slices of white bread with a slice of cheese and some fruit per person was not much to fill the stomach. But still it was something. We do recommend this hotel for people that enjoy lying by a very nice pool, having centre nearby and wants a calm vacation without a noisy surrounding. To be sure of avoiding the noice be sure to book a room on pool side since other side is main road through Protaras with fairly much traffic both day and night. Summary: very nice hotel, nice personel, ok food, hard beds and wonderful view. We recommend it!

Un bon compromis
A l'arrivée, accueil rapide, le veilleur de nuit est super sympa. J'irai rapidement sur les points négatif : -L'"entertainement" a savoir les distractions sont nulles, j'y suis pas allé pour, donc pas de problème pour moi, mais les fans de club med doivent le savoir! -Les clefs de l'hotel sont uniques, et fournissent le courant de la chambre, donc si votre comparse part avec malencontreusement, vous pourrez vous faire ouvrir la chambre par un employé blasé, mais vous serez dans le noir. -La grande et belle piscine est plus une petite pataugeoire qu'une piscine, 1.65m de profondeur max, sur un petit 1/5e, sinon c est 1m en moyenne, donc ideal parents/jeunes enfants Pour le reste, propreté, confort, accueil, nourriture, c'est un bon compromis. Un bémol sur le service du midi, c'est du snack pas très qualitatif. Sinon pour le buffet du soir, c'est largement appréciable, sauf si vous etes fans de dessert, les anglo-saxons (tres grande majorité de la clientele) ayant des gouts differents des notres :)
