I gave this stay a low rating because the room I booked was not the room I received. I specifically booked a room with two double beds because I was traveling with my family of five—two adults and three children.
When we arrived, the person assisting us told us they did not work at the front desk and gave us a key to a room with only one bed. I went back downstairs and explained that this was not the room I had booked. I was then given another key and told to try a different room. Unfortunately, when we entered that room, it also only had one bed.
At that point, my family was exhausted and tired from traveling, so we ultimately had no choice but to stay in the one-bed room. Having three children and two adults in a room with only one bed was extremely uncomfortable and not what I paid or booked for.
The biggest issue was not simply the room itself, but the fact that I tried to get the situation corrected and was still given another room that did not match my reservation. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves communication and room assignments so other families don't experience the same problem.
