The main problem were the rooms. You have to get thru a door to enter your room and it has two entries so room 100 & 101. You can barely squeeze in thru the door to open the room door and the other room door is also inside this door. And all the banging of doors because there are two doors opening and closing every time you enter or leave. This morning we had a family do this for 1.5 hours. They were in and out with children and there were these two doors that kept banging. It’s not the building door it was like two room next to each other with its own door to get to the two Rooms. The shower was shocking too with the door not being great. Not worth the cost

Large 1 BDRM, clean and comfy.
Stayed in a 1 bedroom suite, very spacious, clean and comfortable, good quality towels and bedding. Large deck with table and chairs. View of the inlet. Kitchen was equipped fairly well (was missing pot holders and something to set hot pots on, no oil or spices). We didn't go to the restaurant or rec area so can't comment on that. Would stay here again.

Amazing resort for a relaxing trip
This was one of the best resort we have stay. The view was amazing. Facing the sea, we could see the sea during the day time and fantastic view during sunset. The resort was near to Philip Island, Inverloch and other beautiful suburbs around it. We have a blast driving around the area and were enjoying the beaches in the surrounding area. The restaurant served breakfast that need to book a day before to get a discount. The resort also has an indoor and outdoor swimming pools. A gym, bar and free wifi. Everything you need for a weekend getaway.

Not our first time at Silverwater Resort and won’t be our last. We’ve been with our kids and as a couple, great for both. Lots of activities for your energetic kids but wonderful quiet and peaceful spots to sit back and relax. Can’t wait to bring our grandchildren here.

Comfortable stay marred by poor custome service
Stay was comfortable and the amenities were good. Kids enjoyed the indoor pool. The apartments are comfortable and spacious, although the bad carpet smell (my daughter describes this as “wet cat”) in the hallway and the general age/condition of the furniture let things down a bit. The gym was also inaccessible because the door lock mechanism was malfunctioning, which was a shame because we were only staying one night and wanted to exercise on a rainy day. We didn’t interact with the staff much during the stay but our experience was let down at the end. I thought I had left my wallet in the room and asked someone to check for me but the reception desk kept referring me to housekeeping, then saying that it would take a day for someone to check. I never received a call back even after following up and could not understand why it was not possible for someone at reception to go themselves to check the room for something so important. Better communication and some show of care could have turned this poor experience into a very positive one - a missed opportunity by the staff at Silverwater in my opinion. Overall, if you don’t do anything silly like leave valuables behind or need customer service, you will be fine.

Great family spot! Indoor and outdoor pool were excellent, as well as the other onsite facilities. The walk into San Remo was too far for us with a pram (in very hot weather) which was a shame, but other than that everything was lovely. Also very decent price for buffet breakfast at the resort restaurant.
