A Unique Experience in a Historic Gem
The historic building and elegant interior left a strong impression. The staff were incredibly kind, and the complimentary breakfast was delightful. Lovely old world charm in the Blue Mountains. Always like to begin with the positives. Decent size rooms with high ceilings and clean throughout. Location is an easy 5 minute walk from the railway station and the local bus stops in front of the hotel. The lounge and bar areas ooze charm and a continental breakfast is included. Many rooms are not air-conditioned and the window opens about 200mm. No ceiling fans so some people will be challenged with the summer heat.Some of the staff would rather be elsewhere and it shows. We thought some local newspapers would be a nice touch in the foyer and maybe include specialty coffee's with breakfast.

Just loved stepping back in time at this heritage property. We stayed 4 nights in a premier room, bed was very comfy, the room well appointed and clean. Appreciated the breakfast inclusion. It was mid-winter chilly, but the hotel was very toasty. Secure parking was easy and the staff mostly helpful. Enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

This is a beautiful place to stay. We stayed here for 2 nights as a final destination after doing a road trip for 12 days. It was lovely just to sit on the verandah and relax with a book and a nice drink. The only thing i would probably say is that they kept the heating on in the hotel all day and night, i know this is a really big old hotel that may get cold in winter but it was so hot and stuffy. We had to have the air con going in our room all the time just to feel some coolness. But that was my only negatively about this great place.
