It was our first time staying at the Sandpiper Beacon. Overall it was good. Our room was very clean. Our view was absolutely amazing. We had a private balcony, which we enjoyed. The staff was friendly. We enjoyed the Tiki bar. The grands loved the pool with the slide. The downside in spite of it being a non smoking facility was the smell of marijuana smoke. Mostly by the pool where the kids were playing. This should not happen. I look for non smoking facilities when I book rooms because of allergies, and well the odor. Like I said for the most part it was good.
