The location was great, comfortable beds, loved the roomy bathroom. The room itself was really small, luckily there's a nice lounge on the 2nd floor if you want more sitting space. It's a little noisy inside, you can easily hear guests coming and going in the hallway. The checkin process definitely threw me, as it was the first time I had used a kiosk style check-in without a live person. I would definitely stay again, slept great and walked everywhere!

This was a good home base for accessing Hayes Valley. Clean and comfortable. Our room was next to the Main Street so traffic could be a little loud at night, bring earplugs. Also the toilet was clogged when we got there, and I eventually fixed it before we left, but one of the downsides of not having people onsite. But still overall acceptable for the price and location.

My second time staying here. This is an interesting hotel. No person at the front desk, it is handled over a video chat. But it wasn't a worry, I got my needs taken care of they even made a special accommodation. The art in the hallway is truly interesting, there is a big very comfortable shared working space, room is solid. Wouldn't be surprised if I stayed here a 3rd time.

The hotel is in the centre of SF, perfectly located for visiting the city. The check in is via a screen, there are no employees on the spot. The room we got was on the 3rd floor (without elevator, which was no problem for us but can be a challenge with big bags for older people) and was fairly small (difficult to pass by each other) but clean. The bathroom was supernice. There was an A/C, small fridge, hair dryer, TV, heater etc in the room, but no desk or chair or cupboard (no space for it), and it was hard to find a spot for our bags. The furniture was a bit old and worn, but clean. Free wifi (slow) was available. It was good for us for a weekend, without car (no parking). We enjoyed that there were food shops, coffee shops and restaurants nearby. It all worked fine, but was a bit expensive for the small size of the room. Overall it can be an option for short visits if one only wishes a bed to sleep but not to spend much time in the room.

The room was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The common area was perfect for enjoying takeout meals and supplied plastic utensils and extra toiletries and linens if needed. The check-in process was easy and entrance was secure. The staff was courteous. The only thing that was less than optimal is that homeless individuals tended to sleep and hang out on the stoop right in front of the entrance, which might make some guests uncomfortable.
