I loved how quiet it was and how easy the checking in and out process is. The room and the bathroom was nice and spacious definitely worth paying for. I love the sitting area outside as well makes it’s feel like it’s your own front yard. And the cafe was just a few feet away it was perfect!

Customer service was beyond amazing. They responded immediately. We stayed the first night of the winter storm, January 2026. They were very accommodating with early check in/out due to weather. The room was clean, super cute and within 5 minutes of our event. We were traveling with our dog, and the room came with pet bowls. I wish we would have been able to enjoy the court yard. I would highly recommend this place and will stay again.

Bed and pillows were plenty comfy. There's a dehumidifier in the room which helps keep the room temperature comfy in the summer. We'd get coffee in the mornings and sit on the 'front porch' and enjoy the peaceful courtyard. Super cute spot and felt right at home!

This place is a gem. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay completely. Very well decorated and clias a whistle. And very well equipped. The keyless entry in and no front desk check in was very convenient. The piped in music was a nice touch. My one and only setback was the shower was extremely slippery. We went and picked up a bath mat and solved the problem. We'll visit again for sure.

Talbot Commons is a very charming enclave located in a quiet area within walking distance of Taylor’s shopping district. Each of the rooms are decorated with a trendy western theme. All the rooms are on ground level arranged around a common area, so it could be ideal for a wedding, group, or small family reunion. For me it was an ideal stopover on a trip across Texas. There is no staff on site, so that should be taken into consideration. I didn’t know how to rate “staff and service” because the hotel is not set up that way. I had absolutely no complaints: my room had everything I needed. A nice, trendy cafe is adjacent to the hotel.

This hotel has the perfect mix of eclectic and Texan and isan absolute delight. A few of us booked the Hoxie Suite as a great place for our girls to come together and get ready for their Spring Formal and we were delighted at every turn. The check in process they Hotels.com was seamless and easy and provided me with all the info I needed. They also communicated about an event that was happening nearby so we could be aware, and that made everything run so smoothly. The room itself was stunning and beautifully decorated! The amenities are excellent and we had plenty of space for three preteens and their make up bags. The kitchen area has both a mini fridge and freezer as well as a beverage fridge. Huge closet space and ironing board, fabulous desk area and a cute table and chairs that was perfect for eating a quick dinner. The outside of the hotel is decorated so cute like something you'd find in the middle of South Congress. Great coffee shop as well and so many places to take wonderful pre dance pictures...very scenic. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the Taylor area. I will definitely be returning!
