Not worth the money
By far one of the worst hotel experiences I've had with a hotel. Right off the bat I had problems trying to contact the front desk to confirm my reservation. When I spoke with the manager to see if their phone was also connected to their fax, he said no and that I must have been calling their fax line. I double checked the website, I was calling their normal line, however the manager couldn't be bothered. When I returned to my hotel room at 11:30 pm, it was very warm so I cracked the sliding door about 3 inches to let some cool air in. At about 1:30 am I was jolted awake by the hotels air system. It sounded like there was a semi truck idling in my room along with what sounded like a dog panting heavily. I called the front desk who came up to the room and suggested I close my sliding door and turn on the AC. The noise carried on through the remainder of the night. When I spoke to the same manager the day previous, he was argumentative and condescending and seemed to suggest that I was making it up as he had never received a complaint from the 3rd floor but acknowledged that he has from the 2nd floor. He then stated he would take 50.00 dollars off the bill. The conversation continued to devolve to where I just left. He continued to berate me as I left. If I was the owner of that hotel, this manager is not someone I would want representing it.

The bellhop was incredible, helping up move to a larger room with 2 kids in tow. Incredibly friendly staff, and the Indian restaurant downstairs was great too - and good happy hour!

Convenient hotel in good location for attractions
Generally, we enjoyed our one-night stay here. The room had a balcony, small fridge and microwave oven, and air conditioner, and was well-located for our travel to Alice Lake and the Sea-to-Sky Gondola and Britannia Mine Museum. We were somewhat less impressed with the gym/fitness centre. While it has many pieces of equipment, it is not air-conditioned (and is right next to the open spa/hot tub), while the rest of the hotel is. This made for a very sweaty and uncomfortable workout. Also, a separate gym key and towels need to be signed out at the front desk, making a visit to the gym more of a hassle than it needs to be. There is, however, a laundry room, as well as a restaurant (and beer/wine store) on-site, and there are quite a few stores in the plaza around it. Again, we were generally satisfied with our stay, and there are many things going for this hotel, but fitness centre experience could have been better.

Property and room were clean and well kept. Only frustration was the bathrooms on the lobby were locked were we arrived and there was no one at the desk. Lesson learned Don't arrive with a child and a full bladder

Aaron who was on the desk went out of his way to help fix a maintenance issue in our room, which we greatly appreciated as it was not his job to do so. Our room was very comfortable and the hotel was very handy to good restaurant options,.
