Village Hotel Birmingham Walsall
"The bedroom was good with two comfortable double beds. Shower but no bath but not an issue for us. Room was quite warm. A fan is provided. Be aware that the gym and parking is an additional cost, although not expensive."
Ramada by Wyndham Telford Ironbridge
"The staff were so lovely. It was our daughter’s birthday and in the morning when we came down for breakfast they’d put up bunting, sprinkled confetti and written her a sweet card. Breakfast was plentiful and extremely tasty. The room was impressive and the pool was warm. Would definitely recommend."
The Lion Hotel Shrewsbury
"The building was amazing for its age. we didn't experience any lost soles at night cleaning not the best the high dusting hadn't been dne for months rather disappointed being it cost £160 a night and you cnt get a breakfast they recomend 2 cafe's to go towe went in to the bar for a drink and i think we stood there for nearly 10 mins before some asked if we would like a drink"
International Hotel Telford
"The hotel is well located for shopping and checking out the area, and the staff is the best asset as they are very helpful. The room are clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent."
Buckatree Hall Hotel
"Staff were very friendly and beds were really comfortable, however, the hotel does appear to be in a period of transition. At the time of our visit the lift wasn't working, and there was no food available in the hotel. On a minor point the TV in the room couln't pick up a signal , maybe due to it's position right by the Wrekin. At first glance the hotel does appear to be in an isolated spot, but it is less than 30 minutes drive to all the attractions of the Ironbridge Gorge, Shropshire Hills and Shrewesbury. Telford is about 15 minutes away, and there are a good choice of restaurants there. All in all I would be happy to stay there again."
The Telford Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort
"Always a great stay, friendly staff and quality rooms, food is always good quality as well."
The Queens at Horton
"Really nice place, north of Telford. The room was excellent, a nice armchair available, very comfy bed and nice bathroom with a shower that was nearly as large as the one we have back home. We had dinner the evening before which was nice and breakfast the next morning was excellent too. Would definitely stay here again."
The Old Orleton Inn
"Lovely clean room, it had a welcome fridge with a bottle of orange juice two bottles of water and a carton of milk. Breakfast consisted of cereal or oats, an apple a pastry and some nuts. Parking was free. Even though I overlooked the main road the traffic didn't keep me awake. Unfortunately there was a wake their so I walked 10 mins up the road to eat, so I can't tell you about the food. But I would stay again."
