A great little spot for a gig at Exhibition Park - we had a lovely quiet room on the tops floor at the back, staff were really helpful and decor was nice too.

We had a great stay at The Jam Jar whilst in town for a wedding. We stayed in a studio room which was decorated to a great standard, and slept well in a comfy bed. Staff were attentive to any needs we had. Location is great too, very close to all sorts of shops, restaurants, bars etc. Parking on site is very limited, so definitely explore alternatives if thinking of staying here; especially if there’s any events on in the area. We would definitely stay here again!

Pros - helpful and friendly check in, great tea tray, big tv and massive choice of channels, comfy big bed, fan already in the room. Cons - limited parking (4 spots) on first come first served basis, located in student area so lots of activity but depending on your age that might be a Pro (lol)

We stayed for a night and enjoyed the comfy bed, great location for central Newcastle, friendly staff and the handy parking space was a bonus. We enjoyed a drink in the bar and visited the nearby pink lane bakery for a pastry in the morning too.
