This was our second time visiting this location. We revisited, because we make frequent trips to and from the Quito airport. It is in a convenient location and it is a quiet and beautiful property. However the first visit we were treated as if it was appreciated that we were there. The food was amazing, and the service was personal and prompt. This time we booked our room online and booked the suite with the jacuzzi. However when we arrived, we were told the room was not available. We ordered some drinks to be brought to our room, and 45 minutes went by. When we went in search of someone, the owner apologized and said he forgot. When we went out to get some coffee at 7:45 am there was no one to be found, and with a free breakfast promised, no sign of anyone cooking. In fact in the community kitchen, there were dirty dishes piled in the sink from the night before, fruit flies flying all around, and no sign of any coffee. We foraged through cabinets, because it is a community kitchen and we made our own coffee. At 8:30am, as we were loading our things in the car, they asked us did we not want breakfast? By then it was too late because we had to go. The dinner that we had this time was terrible. There was so much grease congealed in it, that we were unable to even finish it.
It's a shame, because the location is great and the premises is truly beautiful. We will not return.
