The hosts, Jen & Mark, were the perfect hosts. They know everything about the area. The facility is spotless, well appointed and they go further than we ever expected to make our stay comfortable. We would love to go back again. Try the beer tasting. Marvelous.

Really comfortable, clean and modern room with a huge window and view over the garden. Room is perfectly equipped (even beach towels and picnic blanket are provided). Jen and Mark were so helpful with recommendations and also the beer tasting was really nice (really tasteful beer!). The breakfast selection is huge (cereals, yoghurt, Danish pastry, croissant, bircher Müsli, ...). The house is near Sandpiper beach and Freycinet np it is a 10mins drive away. Definitly recommend to stay there! (Book early as only 2 rooms are available!)

Gorgeous home in quiet beautiful neighborhood. Clise to freycinet national park. We only stayed one night, easily could have stayed for a week. The host lives upstairs and has 2 guest rooms on the first floor.tastefully decorated, plenty of information about the area, parking, wifi, movie channels, comfortable room and great breakfast.friendly hosts. Great choice accomodation

An impressive B&B
Impressive accommodation – the highest standard of the five B&Bs we used during our holiday. Our room was large, immaculate and furnished to the highest standard with the best modern fittings, including a good wet room, plenty of storage and even remotely-controlled window blinds. The communal areas were spacious too, with a coffee machine and tea making facilities available 24 hours. The Continental-style breakfast required some choices to be made the night before, but it was good. The location is quiet yet close to a beach, and with easy access to the beautiful Freycinet National Park and other areas such as the impressively long, empty sandy sweep of Friendly Beaches (a recommendation from our hostess). There's a good restaurant nearby too. What more could you want?

Exceeds Expectations
Just book, you won't be disappointed. Jen and Mark were arguably the best host we have ever had, nothing was too much, they have invested in creating a resort style environment, with the highest quality fixtures and fittings. Breakfast was superb (we've taken the recipe for the chia bowl), we will stay with them again.

Warm welcoming and homely b&b
Jen and Mark were impressive from before we arrived even, sending emails with offers of recommendations and also asking if we had any special requests. Unsurprisingly, upon arrival, they were equally warm, friendly and helpful. Their house was amazing clean, neat and welcoming. Jen even thoughtfully laid out some chocolate Tim tams for us to have after our dinner, which we had at a restaurant that Jen had recommended and booked for us. The room we were assigned was warm and comfy. Both the room and the hall/kitchen were well stocked with all sorts of kitchen supplies, both food and non-food. Overall there was a very nice feeling of homeliness there. Breakfast in the morning consisted of some awesome warm pastries, plus 3 kinds of bread/toast, and a plethora of cereal. Coffee came from a nespresso machine. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Malting Lagoon.
