One of the worst motels. They do not give the room keys to you. This was the most ridiculous thing I've ever experienced.
One evening, I asked them to open the door to MY room (which I paid for). I waited for some 10-20 minutes outside my room for somebody to show up. Nobody did. I had to go back to the office to ask again. One guy then finally started moving in the corner, who had been just chatting, and acted like he was doing me a BIG favor.
The next evening, this guy was doing it again. OMG. This guy with some twisted attitude looks for other things to do while he sees me waiting, standing there doing nothing else, just waiting. This guy either didn't know how to do a simple task of helping a guest, or he probably had this twisted attitude of "I'm too important to help the guests too quickly". I couldn't care less, but the point is, the guests do not have to deal with this kind of non-sense, in the first place. Again, I had to go back to the office and "begged" to get my room key.
This unpleasant-looking woman at the front desk was no different. Something was clearly wrong with her as well. This is business. People come here and pay, however little it may be, and get certain expected service in return, like being able to access their rooms _whenever they want_ without having to get a permission or having to beg and indefinitely wait every time.
Obviously, I picked this rundown place to save a few dollars. But, I must say, it's not worth it.
