Nice big rooms, comfy bed and very friendly helpful staff. No AC made the rooms unbearably hit at night. Couldn’t open the window as it didn’t feel safe as it backed into an alleyway and train tracks! Trains literally zooming past outside our window.

It is all underground and no windows. No fresh air. Gave me a panic attack. Left after checking in. Not an ideal place.

2/10 Poor

The hotel was suffering from a lack of staff and management, the actual service and facilities was appalling. The hotel website lists a range of services and extra's that you will receive but on our visit there was no chef so no food available and no breakfast, the rooms were not serviced properly and needed a good clean. When we asked for some extra milk for the the in room tea and coffee service we were told that there was no milk available. The security door leading into the rooms section was damaged and the lock malfunctioned so was waken in the night in order to let other guests into their rooms. In short the stay was very poor and would not return. The final insult was that top price was charged for the rooms but only third rate service delivered

Zero stars
Constant trains passing next to room. View from window of a brick wall rail line other side of wall. No air conditioning in room, was like an oven, window wouldn’t open. Toilet flush got jammed, constant running water shower head sprayed at wall rather than where you needed it. needs head replaced or cleaned sink got blocked had to unblock in morning. Was glad to check out luckily we only stayed 1 night not worth the money. So it’s a thumbs down from us very disappointed won’t be booking again.

The hotel was really conveniently positioned for the airport and was situated next to an attractive canal system in an area of nicely modernised industrial buildings. The room itself was a little tired: the keycard system was broken, meaning you had to tap the card three times for the door to open. The toilet seat was broken. The plumbing made loud, rasping noises that could be heard from the bed. The grout in the bathroom was mouldy and the extractor fan underpowered, meaning that our two showers made the bedroom very humid. There was no breakfast on offer as the restaurant didn’t open in the mornings, so we had to drive to a nearby industrial estate for food. The vending machine was out of order. By far the worst thing was the noise of the other guests at night in the corridor. A number seemed to have gone for nights out in Dublin and came back in waves between 2 and 5am, waking us up each time. There was shouting, laughing, slamming doors. There also seemed to be a maintenance issue with a neighbouring room, as around 1am we could hear the voice of the receptionist talking to a guest and what sounded like a contractor. They were having a loud conversation, with the receptionist apologising to the guest and the contractor shouting down the corridor about the issue he was working on. Unless they solve the noise issue, it’s very hard to recommend this hotel. We were knackered the whole next day.

Terrible service
We booked a wheelchair accessible room when we arrived we were asked to use the stairs as a means to get to the room as the lift was only to be used by staff. We eventually were able to use the lift which was very dirty! When we got to the room not only was it in no way wheelchair accessible but you would barely wheel a large suitcase in. The service was terrible by the guy we encountered there was a lady there who did try to help us. We had had a mobile hoist delivered the day before which we called and made arrangements for and when we looked for this we were told it wasn’t there to later find it ourselves sitting outside in the rain! We had no option to find alternative accommodation for the night which was very difficult on the Friday of a bank holiday at short notice.

Totally overpriced
We stayed here for one night and was extremely disappointed. The bedrooms are in the basement and are passable. However the stairwell leading down there is in need of a refurbishment. The carpet is old, stained and torn in places. For €175 a night with no breakfast it really is overpriced.

We had the queen/twin room for three, was exactly what we needed. Being honest, it's a bit of an odd set-up, all the rooms are in the basement of the restaurant, but they are super nice. Front desk was a little informal when we got there, but that's because they're working the restaurant at the same time (which I'd recommend going to, was great). You are a 12 minute taking from the airport, 5 minute walk to the train to take you into town, and situated along the canal from some great morning walks. Would definitely stay here again when back in Dublin!

Disaster from start to finish - avoid
Good location on the canal with ample onsite parking. Reception staff inexperienced and quite rude when present. Had to swap rooms as there were 3 faults with the initial room(I don't usually complain). Bar and restaurant ok but menu was concise compared to the menu featured online. Watch out for the card machine being faulty, you sit there mounting up a hefty bar bill waiting for it to come back online. Day 2 - Our relatives booked with the hotel directly months in advance but although their booking was on the system there wasn't a room available! Having stayed at 100's of hotels and b&b's I have never come across anything like this I'm very surprised, shocked, this could happen these days. No offer of a drink or a complimentary bite to eat, no offer of alternative accommodation. Day3 - 40mins before checkout we got a call to say we could now pay for our bar bill from day2 as the card machine was now working, even though we had DND notice on our door!! Went to check-out, left standing there with card machine by bar staff, I tore off receipts and left whilst the receptionist was arguing with someone on the telephone. We've stayed here before, few years ago - thought it was a great place... Quite the opposite now.

Gone downhill since 2yrs ago
It’s disappointing to say the overall standard has fallen dramatically. My key card had to be programmed on a daily basis. I with 12 other people were in the restaurant the first night, 3 staff were on. No one came to serve me, so I had to go ask for a menu, I also had to go ask for my second pint. One girl of the 3 girls seemed to be doing all the work, the other 2 were being busy doing nothing On the second night I was told the kitchen had closed 75mins early (this was due to a booking for a funeral group who were extremely unsavoury). I complained and the “girl who worked the first night” sorted me out. We were moved to a second bar where the manager was asked 3 times for drinks and said he would get them then got distracted by this group. So mostly we were left to their own devices. No breakfasts available I assume due to Covid, but I checked my booking details and no where did it state that. A shower that flood out to the carpet, the carpet was damp (I only figured this out in the middle of the night) told staff the next morning, no alternative was offered and I went to work and returned to the unruly group so didn’t raise it further. This is my fifth time staying there as I stay there when I am working in the area which is usually 3 times per year for a total of 13nights. However this will be the last time
