A HOTEL THAT LOSES YOUR SUITCASE AND DOES NOTHING ABOUT IT. We were on hiking for 5 days and left our luggage at the hotel. When we came back, 1 out of 3 luggage was gone.
The manager kept on saying that “he will so his besy” to “help us find it” but he really didn’t do much. I know, because he did not even know that CCTV footage does not cover the storage, which shows that he sis not check the surveillance cameras sufficiently.
It’s been 2 days since we’ve checked out and no news and no expression of sorriness at all. This is the part I am most upset about. It was the hotel’s responsibility but the manager said he was not responsible for the loss b/c this kind of thing never happened in 6 years. Then why did it happen this time? If I knew the hotel would be so irresponsible, I would have stored my luggage at a place where they charged money.
All in all, I’ve been to many many hotels in my 30 years of life, but was by far the worst hotel I’ve ever been. It downgraded me and my family’s trip to Queenstown.
