My son and I stayed at the Stonefield Rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful; the room was spotless, as was the bathroom. They supplied the basics: kettle, coffee, tea, etc., plus liquid soap. I definitely recommend staying here; it is close to transport—the bus stop is just downstairs. The Livingston Museum is a 10-minute walk away. The price is very reasonable.

Room was dirty, stains on the bedding, up the walls in the bathroom. The bathroom smelled of smoke. Had a full washing basket left in the room. One of the beds had a noisy plastic undersheet on it.

For me ok. But no tea spons. The bathroom had nowhere to pout things on, had to pout everything on the floor. The fan needs cleaning, fire hazards. The tv controls need replacing.

Brilliant stay, great room and lots nearby too. A few mins walk to station. Highlight was the friendly pub on site. Staff were great !

There was no staff when I arrived and the bedbead had visible stains on it. The room smelt of damp and mattress was very uncomfortable. It was very noisy and smelt of exhaust as the room overlooked busy road.

I am cautious of staying in pubs because of the risk of noise, but there was no problem with this one. The room was clean well maintained, there are fast food outlets nearby Blantyre station is a 10 min walk and it was reasonably priced. I don't know if the pub does food as I didn't use it, there is no breakfast, but as I was away before 08.00 it didn't matter to me. Would use again

Stayed here for a couple of nights to visit friends in Glasgow. The room was clean and tidy and could set the heating to your preferred temperature. Tv was big and worked well. Bed was comfy and shower was hot and worked well. Would stay again

This was a very pleasant place to break a long journey. Large room with comfortable beds and a nice shower. Right in the town centre, with several takeaways and other places to eat within a couple of minutes walk. Free parking just outside.

Lugar que puede parecer incómodo por el pub debajo, pero los días que estuvimos alojados cerró pronto , sobre las 20:00. La estación de tren está a 7 minutos andando y decidimos utilizar el transporte público aunque teníamos coche. El tren ida y vuelta 5 libras. Nos pareció más cómodo que llevar el coche, buscar aparcamiento, pagar la hora o un párking. La habitación espaciosa, calentita.

Prima kamer, wel wat onderhoud nodig aan meubels en sanitair. Geen rustige omgeving, maar wel heel dicht bij bushaltes en treinstation.

Staff very friendly and accommodating...room was clean & comfortable. A mini fridge wouldbe a welcome addition. Definitely would stay there again.
