A peaceful, relaxing, and quality resort.
It was the most relaxing holiday we have had. Staff were excellent, cheerful and very helpful. Lovely surroundings. A shuttle bus to and from the nearby beach. The restaurant was excellent, the four course menus for both lunch and dinner were varied, very well prepared, and presented.

Fabulous place - booked to come back next year .
The escape is a fabulous place , we’ve loved every second . The staff are amazing - all of them - the rooms are great - lovely to have your own pool to come back to at the end of the day . Enjoyed the little hike to the beach each day - loved the private island picnic and the hot stone massage in the wellness centre was fabulous . The restaurant is good and the menu was varied each day , I’m a vegetarian and there was always something I could eat , which hasn’t been the case in other places we have stayed .

Escape Stay
Norah’s was the best receptionist by far. She was very attentive and kind. Helped us set up excursions and made sure we had reservations for dinner every night. The sunset boat ride was the best part of the trip. The two young men were extremely friendly and took us on a small tour around the coast. I will definitely be back to visit. Amazing hospitality!!!!!

Relaxing escape for adults
Great place for relaxing. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The pool is very small. Best to rent a car to explore the country. The restaurant has a great variety. Food not extraordinary, but okay. Well stocked bar with many cocktails available.

As others have said this is a property that is "away" from from everything. That being said, the property itself is very picturesque. All of the rooms as well as the restaurant, pool and bar area all have a wonderful view of the bay. The rooms were clean and well equiped with each having it's own plunge pool. As for it being "all inclusive". The inclusions are food and drink, both alcoholic and non alcoholic. That is where the inclusions end. The menu's are very limited as to choices and if you want a steak it is a $37.50 up charge, also upcharges for certain wines. Room service was an upcharge as well. To do any type of activity, go to the beach, shopping, snorkeling, all upcharged. We did have a couples massage which was wonderful and the expected charge was reasonable. Rosie and Tanya did an amazing job massaging us. All of the staff were very nice and very friendly. All in all this is a very nice resort, but it is a stretch to call it an all inclusive

This property is perfect for individuals or couples that want to unplug from reality. If you are looking for a mixture of fun and relaxation this is not the resort for you. The resort is located pretty far from everything. There is only one very small pool and one restaurant and bar on the property Take advantage of the packages. The resort has to offer and I recommend renting a car.

I had such high expectations for this stay. The Pros: When we first arrived, the woman that checked us in was so nice. The room was nice and clean and looked exactly like the pictures. The view was beautiful and we loved the mini pool. The Cons: It’s “all inclusive” but you have to go during the breakfast, lunch and dinner hours. The service for the meals was really hit or miss, being mostly a miss. A few times the servers literally forgot about us. It took so long to order and get our food for dinner, we would not have gone if we weren’t starving. And even with all the waiting the food was still cold and not very good. I had the burger the first night and it was just burnt. Not chard but burnt. The fries were cold. The next night, I said I wouldn’t make the same mistake and got the fish. It had no seasoning and it was cold and our server seemed so annoyed, like she was being forced to work there. I get AI resorts don’t normally have the best food and I wasn’t expecting a bunch, but this food and service were so disappointing and the worst part of this trip. We left saying we’d never be back but looking back I think we would return, just with a new set of expectations. The room was great with amazing views. It doesn’t seem impossible to get a better menu and staff that’s more attentive.

Pros: The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was good overall. The rooms were modern and the plunge pool was cool although it was always pretty cold. BBQ night was great. Cons: The nearby beach was awful and not worth visiting. Lots of mosquito bites when eating at dining area even with bugspray. You can only get food during certain scheduled times and there's no buffet option. Sometimes the food portions were really small. You have to take taxis everywhere and they're not cheap because most places including the capital city are at least 30 mins away. The toilet closet wall does not extend all the way to the ceiling, so there's no privacy when using the restroom in your room. Overall, I would not recommend staying here.

Friendly staff, the room with the pool was nice and the off shore beach picnic was lovely. The service around the pool area was poor for me. No service at all, you do have to get your own drink if you want one. It’s an all inclusive but don’t expect any drinks in your fridge such as water, sodas or beers. If you must have any of these drinks call the front desk for extra charge. If you like mimosas they do run out of champagne. If you like to drink beer they run out of it as well, so be prepared to expect the unexpected. Same goes for food, they have the shortest menu I have ever seen and they run out of what’s on the menu everyday. The property is a mosquito friendly zone. My body is completely covered with mosquito bites despite the effort of spraying the mosquito spray I had. The place is beautiful it sure needs improvement in a lot of areas. Shut out to Gina and the manager(sorry, I forgot your name) for being so nice and caring. Thank you!

property very pretty and staff were super friendly and nice. very couples based so not a bad thing. Food was really good and the menu varies everyday for lunch and dinner but still all inclusive. Definitely need mosquito repellent. On site Beach was decent but water was very grassy and definitely a walks away but they offer a shuttle. Bar closes at 10/1030pm everyday but drinks are good. Nice excursion offers with the hotel but could get pricey depending on which you do. Area is relatively secluded so about a 30-35 minute drive from St John (downtown) area. Still I recommend this resort for a baecation!
