We elected to not do the all inclusive, so I can't speak to the quality of the food. I had no problem with the hotel itself. Its in a great location and the beach was great! Its an older hotel, but our room was clean with no signs of bugs. The bed wasn't awesome, but it was sufficient. It was also very quiet, and we were there over spring break. It was worth it to us to spend a bit more and get an ocean view balcony. You can't ask for a better view. My biggest complaint was the staff. This property also does a time share and everyone we interacted with was VERY aggressive. You can't get any help without being accosted. Every question we asked the front desk/concierge/doorman turned into a sales pitch. "Us- Where can we get a cab? Them-Where are you going, did you know you could go there for free if you listen to our presentation? Us- Can I get a price list for your spa? Them- Wouldn't you rather get services for free?" ALL THE TIME!!! And whatever you do, don't sit at the desk with their planner people! They act helpful in getting you tickets to excursions, trips, etc, buts its another ploy to get you to the time share. I wish we would have known to expect that level of aggressive sales tactics ALL OF THE TIME. By the end of our trip, I just walked through the lobby without making eye contact and ignored anyone trying to engage me. Without the staff, I would have rated the hotel much higher.
