Barking Dogs, Low income visitors

The Hotel has low income visitors in the parking lot and hotel. The staff allows attack dogs barking all the time at guests to stay. Pool was very good. Gym small, breakfast was limited to bread. 10 minutes drive from Downtown. Low income part of Grand Rapids.

Expedia showed this property as what looked like a nice new hotel. This hotel was a remodeled days inn and was remodeled very poorly. Expedia charged $150 a night for this hotel and in person was about $60. This hotel is in a sketchy part of town and I would not recommend to anyone.

CHAINS NOT WORKING TOGETHER LIKE A TEAM SHOULD!!

I made the reservation and it was supposed been in Grand Rapids OHIO and somehow it got switched to GRAND RAPIDS MI, I called the same date to try to fix it, but they would not give my money and help me fix the mistake!!!! I would have thought that with it being the same chain they would have worked with me, but i guess not!!!

Did the online check in and it didnt speed up the check in process at all. Then the hotel was dirty, woke up congested from the poor air conditioning, the toilet seat almost fell off as i sat on it.

Prolly pick a different hotel next time

We came to town for a concert, when we were about to leave for the concert we noticed our door was able to be opened just by pushing it. And our pillow cases still had someone's lipstick on it 😭 The girl at the desk was SUPER sweet. But for $100 a night I'll most likely find a different hotel next time.

The property was located in a bad neighborhood. It advertised a hot tub but did not have one. The inside looked like an an old hospital with mismatched carpet. The adjoining room door lock was not able to be locked from both sides leaving me feeling very unsafe. I left without asking for a refund because my safety was more important.

We were unable to get a refund because we were outside the 15 minute check-in window because we had to wait in line to check out because there was only one person working.
