Beautiful hotel unbelievable location. Lifelong new yorkers that now live out of state so we know the city. Central park 2 blocks away, amazing restaurants all in walking distance. Room was very large and spacious but outdated but we didnt care it was clean and the hotel was immaculate and well maintained.

Excellent location in terms of proximity to the park. Unfortunately, our windows were dirty on the exterior, presumably due to construction across the street. Another family member stayed in a cleaner room. I think we stayed in a room that is booked more frequently and had more wear and tear. Size was great for NY. Our bathroom was a bit musty. No cups in our room, no refrigerator but there are fridges in some rooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great location: just a couple of blocks from Central Park and a metro station. Good building: elevators are fast, and it is a well-maintained building. Our stay at the Park Central was okay. The bed was comfortable, bathroom clean, and the location was nice. However, the A/C does not effectively cool the room and each day the building turns off the A/C all together while you are out. Additionally, there were only 2 small, slow elevators on each side of the building so there was usually a wait. Lastly, on the day of our checkout, cleaning staff tried to open our door twice before 10:30am to come in and clean - check out was at 12pm. This left a negative impression as we left. Overall, we paid a reasonable price for a 3-night stay in a good location, but the hotel left a few things to be desired.

Staff were amazing. However, my unit didn’t have mini refrigerator so be mindful of that and also we had to get fans… the ac was set for 65 and it was still hot. Target is down the street for $15 fans. I had to leave the 2 fans I bought so I know they have some to let people use. Or the cleaning staff took them ;) Overall, great safe stay and I would stay again.

Room was clean. Property a bit run down. We had a king bed room & they only gave us 2sets of towels. We arrived late & requested for another set was never delivered. Think Houskeeping left for the day but front desk & operator were not aware. I got extra towels from cleaning person the next morning. Hotel charged $48per night «Destination Fee» that is on top of room charges- so be aware. Location is good about 10 block away from Times Square so it’s not so busy. Easy to get to from multiple Subway lines. Really nice bed very comfortable & nice linens. I think it’s good value for what you pay/get in the area.

While this hotel probably has the most central location for our purposes, we encountered several things that dampened our enthusiasm for this establishment. The first room we were given had a very "lumpy" mattress. When my wife requested a room change, the staff was very helpful and gave us another room with a much more comfortable mattress. We did find that the carpet in the room probably deserves to have a proper shampooing. During our trip, we encountered two days with quite heavy drizzling and unseasonable cold weather, something we did not prepare for. When we asked to borrow umbrellas from the reception, we were told that the hotel does not provide such amenities. In our travels, every hotel we have stayed in provided umbrellas for the use of guests. To us, this is a very basic item to offer. I hope that the hotel would consider this comment. Again, the hotel does have much to offer, not the least of which is its central and very convenient location.
