The location and room were great, as the city center was very accessible and the neighborhood was nice and clean (we loved the dog park view).
But we had a very hard time with the cleaning services. First, they didn't change the bed sheets or replenish the vanities, so we had to ask for it, which they did, but forgot to put back shower gowns.. They never vacuumed the room when we stayed for six days. When we forgot to remove the do-not-disturb sign once, we simply asked for new towels, and after about 30 minutes, had to ask again, when then they only brought the minibar stuff with a laundry bag. When they finally brought new towels, I had to ask again to take away the dirty towels.
Also, we reserved for two beds, and got one king size bed, so asked to check the reservation on the day we checked in, and we were told that they had upgraded us for free and that there is no comparable room with two beds, so we just stayed with the assigned room. But when we were checking out, we were told again that we had to pay for the upgrade, and that "in no event the staff communicated that the room was upgraded for free."
I was very puzzled by the communication difficulties, because the staff on the first floor seemed to speak perfect English and appeared very friendly. I was left to wonder if this had to do with not tipping enough or even racism, but again, the location and the room were very nice.
