We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Athens 21. At first glance, the reception might surprise you, as it looks more like a small office desk with just one receptionist. But once you enter the rooms, you realize how spacious and comfortable they are. The shower was excellent, with great water pressure.
If you are sensitive to noise, I recommend requesting a room that is not facing the street, as it can get quite loud on that side. Breakfast is simple but filling — the menu is small and not a buffet, but it covers all the basics.
I would especially like to highlight Spiros at reception — he was extremely friendly, helpful, and professional. His assistance made our stay much smoother.
The location of the hotel is also very convenient. Public transportation is nearby, including a hop-on hop-off bus stop just around the corner. There are plenty of restaurants and souvenir shops all around, and a grocery store is located directly across the street.
Overall, a comfortable and well-located hotel with excellent service.
