Breakfast: Absolutely terrible. The so-called โlive stationโ chef clearly needs a lesson in how to make eggs properly. The menu never changes โ bruised oranges, a tinned-era fruit cocktail, the most basic breads imaginable, and coffee from a mass dispenser. The entire spread feels cheap and outdated.
Room & Sleep Quality: While the rooms are spacious, theyโre far from appealing. The bed and mattress were so bad that I left with a backache lasting a week. Comfort clearly isnโt a priority here.
Facilities: The gym was acceptable, but only because itโs barely used โ not because itโs well maintained. Strangely, thereโs an ice machine on every floor but no filtered water dispenser. Guests are handed a single plastic bottle of water at check-in, and thatโs it. Everything else is single-use plastic โ cutlery, butter tubs, cups โ so much for being eco-friendly.
Value & Cleanliness: For a โbasicโ hotel, having a Ruthโs Chris Steak House on site is ironic โ the restaurant standards far exceed those of the hotel itself. If only the rooms, breakfast, and cleanliness matched.
Overall: A poor experience from start to finish. Overpriced, underwhelming, and yet another example of the USA charging premium rates for third-rate service. I wonโt be back.
