Electra Metropolis Athens
"Always such great service !"
ERMASS Athens
"The room was very clean and spacious. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The area is not very safe but the hotel was wonderful."
Astor Hotel Athens
"It's ok the fridge didn't work and I told them 3 time but no joy The best thing was the housekeeper Victoria she was so friendly and every morning asked how I was and do I need anything and the room spotless 5 star Thank you for making my stay"
Divani Palace Acropolis
"Great location, less than 10 minute walk from the Acropolis, and about 20 minute walk from the area where all restaurants and big shops are. Hotel was clean, breakfast was nice. We were told the things on the mini fridge were at cost, so we didn’t touch them, although many other reviews mentioned they are included with the stay. The pool is indeed small, with about 10 sun lounges and a couple of tables and chairs. My children were not permitted to play with the ball in the pool, so prevent splashing the other guests. Overall a very pleasant stay. If we find ourselves in Athens again, we will not hesitate to stay at this hotel."
Eternity Athens
"Cute little hotel conveniently located downtown near Monistiraki. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was top notch as they had a lot of options as well as made to order eggs. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. There was a day we had an early shuttle and they even brought us packed breakfast. I would definitely recommend!"
President Hotel Athens
"While in Greece My family and I had two stays at this wonderful hotel Nothing was to much trouble Food staff amenities amazing Thank you president hotel"
Athens Gate Hotel
"The reason to stay is the location. Great walking area with shopping and many restaurants. Very nice staff, view from rooftop is amazing, right next to the Parthenon. Nice breakfast. Very small elevators. Very small. I have friends who stay every time they visit Athens."
Electra Palace Athens
"This beautiful property makes you feel right at home. The reception desk and all the staff I encountered were the nicest salt-of-the-earth people who went above and beyond to help ensure I'd have a great time in Athens 24/7. The location is perfect, a quiet street just blocks from all the action. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe. The food I had there was fresh and delicious, and can be served at the poolside bar as well as the restaurant. Even the napkins are folded with care; small touches like that. The view of the Acropolis is a huge added bonus. I had a spa treatment as well. The staff was professional and the ambiance is very relaxing. I would definitely stay there again."
Athens Tower
"Loved it. Great staff. Great welcome to Greece and they showed how warm and friendly Greeks are. Room was clean and very spacious with great climate. The shower was great. Great location for going out in Athens"

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Athens
- Book for the cheapest times: For those looking to travel on a budget, the most affordable times to visit Athens are January, February, and December, when hotel prices are lower. To truly appreciate the city's rich history and culture, it's recommended to stay for at least 3 to 4 days. This duration allows for ample time to explore key landmarks, such as museums, historical sites, and monuments, as well as to enjoy the local dining and theater scene. With careful planning, visitors can experience the best of Athens while taking advantage of great value for money.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: Hotels.com offers a variety of options to help you save on your trip to Athens. Start by checking the DealsOpens in a new window section for current offers, or explore the Last-Minute Deals area for options that may be available close to your travel date. Additionally, you can enable email alerts or push notifications to stay informed about flash sales and special promotions. With the Smart Shopping tool available on the app, you're more likely to see a comparison of hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you can make the best decision for your Athens getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could help you save on your Athens hotel stay. If you're seeking a unique experience, boutique hotels might offer a more personalized atmosphere and sometimes better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we'll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average, and if it appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates to help you find a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels near the city center usually tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Athens's excellent public transportation, you might find a more likely affordable independent hotel further out that’s still well connected. For those looking to explore alternative, less crowded neighborhoods or even lesser-known nearby cities, there is often excellent value for money. Choosing these alternative destinations could offer a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
