Beautiful hotel. Bathroom odd layout. Blow dryer was very old and hardly working. Both room and bathroom were very clean. Great historic hotel. While restaurant is closed, grill was great for full or continental breakfast.

In the past, I have a love staying at the Driscoll. Itโs one of my all-time favorite places in Austin because itโs so beautiful in historic. However, this time it fell short. I ordered room service that turned out to be cold. I couldnโt get the hairdryer to go above a certain wattage, the room was cold and unfriendly. We couldnโt watch television due to it being so far from the bed and experience in general was a little bit disappointing.

History, history, historyโฆ a few spooky ghost tales made it that much more enjoyable. The location is the ringer being in the heart of Austin on 6th & Brazos. Need I say more? Great stay!
