Endless Check-In, Broken Facilities and Homeless

โข Check-in delays: Check-in took far too long โ around 10 minutes per guest. The receptionist kept saying it was due to a new computer system, but the process dragged on so much that a long queue formed. I had to ask twice if everything was okay. While I laughed it off with other guests, I later noticed some of them were still waiting 30 minutes after Iโd finished. Very poor experience.
โข Parking concerns: Homeless individuals were wandering through the โsecureโ parking lot (see attached photo).
Facilities not maintained: One lift was broken (it was extremely slow and with a warning sign), and the stairwell smelled strongly of weed.
โข Pool closure: The pool was out of service despite it being 19th September and 35ยฐC outside. Neither the website nor reception mentioned seasonal closure of facilities.
โข Cleanliness issues: The desk in the room had noticeable dirt stains.
Positives (+)
โข The room was a good size.
โข The air conditioning worked well.
