Visit to catch up with friends
A few days visiting friends who live nearby. A very friendly place to stay in a location within easy reach of the Metro Centre and the A1. It is the second stay and will certainly be returning in the not too distant future.

8/10 Very good

We had a fantastic stay, amazing value food.. £11 for three courses and the breakfast was great. great staff, comfy beds and a warm room.. The bathroom needed attention in certain areas. No hairdryer in the room but reception did get me one.. there was no shower gel or shampoo in the room and reception couldn’t provide any so had to use the hand soap. There wasn’t enough refreshments for four people.. only 2 tea bags, 2 milks and biscuits but after asking were happy to supply more. Would stay again.

Top notch for a short stay
I have stayed at loads of places and never review because they are all ok for the purpose of a few days away. But felt I had to say something about this place. It was great. Food was lovely the staff were all lovely too. Couldn’t fault it. And if you’re travelling with a furry companion they are not only allowed but welcomed just as equally as you. It was a great find and will definitely book again when in this region

Friendly and attentive staff - nothing too much bother. A very varied restaurant menu - the three fish stews were very good indeed, expecially the Lebanese. I'll be back again for that alone! All in all a very pleasant stay.

The staff were amazing, the food superb. I had the best risotto that i have ever had. Overall a brilliant stay. Will come again.

8/10 Very good

Friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. The room was warm and clean.

6/10 Good

This was an average small Motel. The biggest issues was when we flushed the toliet water bubbled up with small slashing into the tub from the tub drain. We did tell the person at the desk. The positive is the food at the restaurant was excellent and everything was otherwise clean.
