Hotel is not clean. Water pressure in sink in bathroom is nonexistent. Shower temperature is not warm enough. Visible stains on couch in room.

First time in grand rapids
It has to be one of the quietest hotels ive stayed in. You never know what your going to get with other visitors or loud doors. First time visit to grand rapids and was conveniently located. Great stay!

Review of Hampton Inn, Grand Rapids South
The hand faucet in the bathroom was terrible. Abdollah, a kind and friendly guy at the front desk, said you are re-doing all the sinks because this is an ongoing problem: as it is, we could scarcely use it. Please replace. Initial supplies of towels is way under-planned: thanks that you gave us some more on request. Breakfast was ok but kind of mediocre as compared with Hampton Inns in general. Safety and cleanliness were sufficient, thank you. Pool was closed (?)

I booked this hotel months in advance. We called to confirm our reservation because we were checking in late. The hotel confirmed our reservation but we arrived and were told They did not have our room. No sorry no we will help try and get you a room at one of their other properties just your out of luck. Several others were in the same boat. The man that was working was awful to deal with. We called 4 other hotels and they were all booked. It became a rough night!

Overall a decent hotel but the bed was incredibly uncomfortable, sheets were “crunchy” and the pillows were awful. Didn’t make for a very good nights sleep but the room was clean and the in room whirlpool tub was nice.
