The elevator was terribly slow. We waited 45 minutes on a Sunday to check out. We had a stroller so stairs were not an option. Beware of slow elevator times if you are on a lower floor. By the time the elevator, came to my floor, it was full from guests on a higher level.

The hotel is nice I like ot and the location is good. This is actually not my first time but I stayed in a room in floor 5 which the water for the bathroom is very cold i was freezing. Unlike the upper floors the water works well.

Great overall but…
The staff at this hotel are excellent, most gracious and hospitable. They all offer friendly service with big smiles and are great. The hotel had one of two elevators down for service which was remarkably inconvenient and resulted in horrible wait times and long elevator lines. The toilet seat in the room was loose and unattached and after a request for service, nobody ever came to fix it. But overall the hotel is perfectly located and very nice and upscale. The problems were isolated but did result in somewhat of a hassle. The staff is wonderfully nice

Great location, pet friendly
This is a very nice hotel, in a great location. However, they have two elevators and one of them was not working. I wanted to take the dog out for a walk in the morning, and the other elevator was having issues as well, so we ended up on the service elevator. Also, the shower was really big, but the water never got hot at all, it was only luke warm.

Not great the elevator was down for a few hours right when we needed it to go out and back up. We were on the 19th floor so it was quite the stair work. Head in the shower needed to be replaced as many of the nozzles were missing and it didn’t spray well.

A good stay!
One of our go to places. Rooms are always spacious. Location is the BEST. Only couple complaints were the heat/furnace doesn’t reach the bathroom. Absolutely freezing in the bathroom and it’s uncomfortably hot in the living/sleeping area. When you shut the heat off because there was really no happy medium (either too hot or draft of cold air) it would make a ticking noise that kept me up almost all night and I had to play music to cancel the noise out. Lastly, we had a DO NOT DISTURB sign hung on our door. And house keeping STILL decided to knock at 855am when check out is at NOON. Couple small things but definitely not a 4-5 star experience one would expect. Not sure if I would stay here again. Unless the price is right.. Tavern On Rush 5 stars and a nice touch.

Good, but not as good as in past visits
First of all...this is still an excellent choice when staying in Chicago. Perfect location, stylish and trendy, comfortable beds, clean and modern, and excellent toiletries and bathroom amentities. Unfortunately, this time around it wasn't as good as during past stays. I checked in at 7:30pm and was speedily (in a good way) provided keys, but when I got to the room, it wasn't the room category I had booked (Booking was King bed, but room assigned was two twins). It was also really close to the elevator. When I called the front desk, they immediately assigned me a new room on the 7th floor (I had to go downstairs to get the keys) and when I entered it, two things were immediately obvious. While the bed was correct, the room definitely abutted the elevator shaft and there was a significant odor of food (possibly from the restaurant exhaust below?). Buy this point, I didn't want to ask for another room, so I stuck with it. The smell seemed to get better as I was running the AC unit, but unfortunately, the elevator kept humming for quite a while and there was also a service door across the hall which was accessed fairly frequently. So a fairly noisy room. Getting two rooms back to back abutting the elevator and the first room having the wrong bed type gave me the impression the hotel didn't care about my experience. I would stay again, but not in another room close to the elevator.
