Beautiful But Overpriced
The resort is gorgeous. The personal service was excellent. The rooms are spacious, with great views, but the furniture was uncomfortable. One sofa was a pullout bed, very firm. The additional sofa was small and hard as a rock. Ugg. Internet service Very spotty and they want to charge $65.00 per week to the resort but do not provide a return trip. Laundry facilities are not only not in each unit but not even in each building. You must take things to wash to the nearby marina. For wanting to be this upscale 5-star resort, these little things prevent them from making them the ultimate vacation spot.
As an all-inclusive resort, they offer a great selection of food, it was fresh and top quality. They included room service too. BUT, the cost was extremely high. They need to offer options, like limited reservation meals, pricing for those over 60. We could not get any value from this if we were allowed to eat there for a month instead of the 2 weeks we had. Will never do an all-inclusive again -for sure not with this resort group. People put towels on pool chairs at 8 am and were very seldom using them. The time share talk was super pushy! Plus, that 90 min. turned into 3 hours. We told them up front that we had only attended to get the break on tours. They said that's ok, just give us 90 min. When they finally gave us our coupons--they were rude and took double the time.
