They gave me a hard time about having a service animal. Then my airport shuttle I scheduled for 4 am was not available when I checked in, so I had to use Uber.

Poor Security and No Customer Care
My car was broken into while staying here, and the hotel did not notify me or offer any support. They had my contact and vehicle information, and I was told by an employee that they were aware of the incident because he had reported it. They have a security vehicle on-site, but clearly, itโs not effective. No one from the hotel reached out to apologize or check on the situation. I would not recommend staying here if you value the safety of your vehicle.

Never Again Wingate (Read Before You Book)
First Off they did not have the A/C on in 100 degre weather so I was sweating before I could checkin. There were a lot of hidden fees and they held money for incidentals on my card. They cancelled my airport shuttle the day of my return flight which was the only reason I considered this hotel and apparently they cancell alot of the airport shuttles once they get your money so I had to pay for a return shuttle out of pocket. My tv remote did not work. I will pay the extra for a nicer reliable hotel next time.

Horrible experience
Breakfast closed 30 minutes earlier than stated, room and hotel was filthy, hot tub was closed, pool wasnโt open when we got there or left, hotel halls smelled of marijuana just overall not good

Unexpected fees at check staff was very slow room was dirty and very humid had a bad smell like something was molded and the hotel room had roaches will never stay here again

I stayed there before and it was nice. This time they said no pets. My dog is a registered service animal. They told me i could not stay with my registered service animal. When i booked it i even made a note we enjoyed the last time and we was returning to say 1 night with my registered service animal again because we was treated so nice last time. But after we arrived and started checking in the clerk said we couldn't have my registered service animal with her ID and paperwork to show if needed. The said my paperwork was fake. So i pulled her paperwork and service ID up on the website to show them it was real. Then they got very rude and told me I was lying. I explained to them i have worked in hotel management for years and that what they were doing was against the law. My PTSD and Blood pressure started rising as i tried to stay calm. But the would not change their mind even as i was calling to cancel my reservation they tried to charge me double what I was paying plus a $100 deposit fee non-refundable for the room ...That i couldn't check into because of my REGISTERED SERVICE ANIMAL that was with me! My husband and I left to drive home and 6 hours later almost home. They tried to charge my card on file 2 more times for the 2 nights plus $100 deposit. Thank goodness I have only that card for hotel rooms and keep it locked so no extra charge can be added unless i unlock it to pay for the charge.
