The feeling of home. A quaint idyllic spot and a perfectly appointed cabin. Wish we had stayed here while visiting Snæfellsness peninsula. The washing machine an added bonus as was the view out of all the windows!

Cottage is a bit outdated especially the bathroom. Hotel has a restaurant and accommodation looks more modern there. We ate at the restaurant both nights Salmon and Lamb where amazing would highly recommend 😀

We got in on a very windy stormy night, and were greeted by a wonderful host at the hotel. Our cottage was very comfortable and had everything one might need. The bathroom is a wet room. Skip the breakfast, and bring your own food.

Lovely little clean cabin! Friendly check in process. Beautiful views and felt remote even though the village is 15 min away. Sweet little efficient kitchen . Comfy bed and bedding . Would return for sure !

A bit dirty

A nice place but it was very dirty. Rubish on the front deck from the previous guests, dead flys on the floor inside and all the plates, pots and pans ect where greasy. If the owner would do a little cleaning this would be a nice place.

I can not be more happy about this property. The woman in the hotel was so kind at check in. We stayed in one of the cabins. They're adorable, kitchen is fully stocked with tea, coffee and spices which we haven't seen in the other cabins. It's a nice little touch, overal all these little touches and design and nice cute cups and plates made us feel really welcome. THIS IS THE BEST PLACE FOR NORTHERN LIGHTS! You can see them right sitting from your porch, you're in the country side and your view of the lights is not obstructed at all. We went to other cabins where you can see the lights but you had to sit away from the cabin or walk to a different point away from lights or hills or such (I know, big deal) but this place is just so perfect. We saw an absolutely stunning dancing northern lights show for about 6 hours right from the comfort of our porch with shelter from the wind. It is very small but I would recommend this place any time. Just don't book it all because we want to come back too!
