This hotel is dated. They have an overpriced restaurant or two. I'm not sure why it's considered 4 stars. The hotel is clean, and the rooms are clean, but the amenities are scarce, and water isn't even provided. No bottles or a water filter to refill your own bottles. It's a very short walk to public transportation, but the hotel is definitely in an "entertainment" district. Just outside are plenty of hostess clubs, "information centers", etc. If that's your thing, then this is the right place.
The staff tries to be helpful, and often succeeds, but sometimes, fails at being too eager. If you want your room made up, you're supposed to put a magnet outside your door before 11:00am. We put ours out at 9:50, and a maid was knocking on our door 10 mins later. We explained we'd be leaving in 5-10 mins and closed the door. When we opened the door to leave, she was just waiting there. It was awkward.
