Marriott is losing its customer centricity, it seems to be a global phenomenon. It has become a common observation. I have had better experiences with other hotel chains atleast in this year.

Hotel is over 40 minutes drive from Shaoxing. Nobody speaks English. Hotels.com promised to give money back as we had to switch hotel due to their wrong information on a website and eventually gave back nothing. Liars and thieves, never will book with them.

This hotel seems to be primarily for hosting corporate events. Not recommended for a leisure trip to Shaoxing, as it's located an hour's drive away in a far away district Shangyu. Undeveloped land next to it. Impressive lobby, but standard rooms are mediocre. Furniture looking old despite this being a new hotel. Nice view of the river from the rooms. Breakfast 98rmb per person. Gym and swimming pool good.
