Not the usual magical experience.
I’ve stayed here before and it’s usually GREAT. However this time no. The Forte Breakfast buffet was very poor and undercooked. You are better off ordering from the menu for fully cooked food.
The pool capacities were not monitored and the amount of people crammed into the hot pool was overwhelming. Sign said 30. Definitely over 60 people at one point.
The amount of people staying made it difficult to access food places in a timely manner and or fully/booked.
Our thermostat in the room was faulty and worked on and off. There is a sign in the room warning of it. It stopped working at 4am and our room was freezing. (-20 weekend) at this point I didn’t want to wake children with maintenance persons entering our room. Upon awakening we just packed up and left. Did mention to two staff regarding it and the response was well as long as your stay was “okay”.
Spending 2k for a weekend and you would think to have higher expectations of the facility.
My only positive is that I found the European staff to be very polite and courteous and happy to be there working.
