Noisy and Dirty-Looking Towels
Stayed 6 nights. The hotel is a historical building in the historical district. Understandably the building and its facilities will be old. However, allowing parties at the roof garden which we can hear in our room (304) one floor below, is not acceptable. This happened for 2 nights in a row, on the second night after 11pm I called the Front Desk and they managed to stop the music after an hour but we heard the loud talking for much longer. The towels, specifically the floor towel, looks like dirty rags. And this is my observation of multiple floor towels we had. Tip for the hotel: You should bleach the towels to make it white but it only works if you don’t embroider with color thread.

In the zone there is informal commerce that blocks the streets, in addition to the closure of access to the Zócalo At certain times it becomes very chaotic, you can no longer walk, you can no longer pass.

This hotel is conveniently located a few blocks away from the historic district as well as the subway. The fee includes breakfast which varied every morning and it included fresh fruit. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms are spacious. My only complaint would be that somehow they checked another person in to our room our first night and that person was able to open our door as we were getting ready to go to sleep about 11:30 pm. We called the front desk to report the incident.

The overall experience was good, my only complaint is that I got a horrible room. The restroom was not ideal at all. Our family next door had the perfect set up but our shower and toilet was very complicated. The shower head would wet over the whole shower and it would go over to the toilet so my husband couldn’t use the restroom while I would shower nor could I. I think the worst part of it all is that the whole restroom was practically wet and it would create a puddle next to the toilet. They have a sign that says conserve water but how can you when the water goes everywhere besides where it needs to be only in the shower. They really need to fix that shower in that restroom room 206. It’s a very small hotel but it’s very ideal to be in the center of the city.
