As expected, clean, great service, quiet.
Compliments to the breakfast staff. With a family member who cannot eat Gluten or dairy, and usually stays away from buffet and hotel breakfasts, we were pleased to find a separate area for gluten free cereal and toast, with a dedicated toaster. Variety or dairy free milk, and the chef serving the cooked breakfast was able to immediately and knowledgeably point out the gluten free options. Reassuring and made for a worry free morning.

Hotel is located in an old converted building. Room assigned was very small and cramped. Restaurant was good but dinner menu was limited and not very imaginative. Pool, gym and leisure facilities are excellent.

The hotel, room and food were very good - no complaints here.
However the check in was awful. Apparently we had no reservation despite having a welcome email from the Hotel with confirmation of our booking. We had to wait a good 40 minutes at the reception desk whilst various phone calls were made to sort things out. There appeared to have been a breakdown in communication with Hotels. Com and the Hilton. However we were made to feel this was our problem and it was uncomfortable and embarrassing having this played out in earshot of other customers arriving to check in . We were also informed that because they eventually found us a room someone else would now not get one! They did give us a bottle of Prosecco at the end of the debacle- I needed it to calm my nerves. Feedback - please do not make paying customers feel like they are to blame for this situation and donโt leave them standing at the check in desk whilst you try to rectify your mistakes

Stayed for 1 night with my wife, arrived and received a glass of fizz which was nice, room had to be changed from an accessibility room ( automatically assigned to us) so ended up having to pay for upgrade of ยฃ10, give room 503 which was very nice but floor was very noisy walking across it, not ideal for room below, raised this with front desk when leaving to be told the building is over 100 years old, which is fine but none of the hallways had squeaky floors, apart from that ideal location for night out in the city centre

Comfortable place with good facilities. Room a little small for a double but the bed was comfortable. Parking a bit of a hassle but that goes with the territory as this is right in the centre of town. Nice breakfast with good service and friendly hosts.

Went to Nottingham to see a show, 1 night at the hilton. Went above and beyond to make our stay great. Use of pool facilities a bonus too.
