Cleanliness keeps it on the list
Very clean room. The hotel was in the process of updates. The chair and settee were new. The mattress had a new cushioned mattress pad. The sheets and spread were new and white. The pillows were "dead". When folded in half, they were unable to spring back. The tub surround looked new, but the enamel covering the tub was peeling off. The hot water came on quickly though. The elevator walls were in need of recovering. The 4th floor soda machine was out of order. We were close to roads and elevator, but there was not much noise. Our first reaction was to take this hotel off our list, but after spending the night, we put it back, because of cleanliness. Breakfast had many not and cold selections. Scrambled eggs, sausage, muffins, cinnamon rolls, cereals, etc...

The overnight stay and the room was flawless. But the entire 9th floor smelled moldy, the elevators had a terrible smell. Given the fact that it was under renovations is one thing, but to have a bad smell in the entire floor is a little concerning. Overall 6.5/10

Place seems to be getting upgraded. Our room was nice and clean, although we never got a refill on toilet paper. Continental breakfast options were very poor, the bananas were all brown and no food options to buy. There is also no where near to walk to eat, so we had to use food delivery.

Hotel was under some pretty heavy construction, didn’t know it until I arrived, overall the room was clean but the lobby and elevators were pretty rough. The staff was incredibly nice, parking and location was great. Obviously it’s understandable they were doing upgrades but some type of heads up would have been helpful.

Pretty disappointed as there was no advisement of property being under construction and renovation. They advertised for a full breakfast but only offered the option of yogurt, muffin, banana or apple and various juices. Not a full breakfast like one would expect at all which is something we based our search off of.

Check in experience was less that good. Asked for early check-in and was told no rooms were available but I could leave my number and they would notify me when my room was available. They did not so at 5 Pm I went to inquire and was told yes a room was available. Do not offer this service if you are not going to follow through.
