Arrived at the hotel late in the evening, my Uber dropped me on the street because the gate was closed. I buzzed the desk manager could not locate my reservation, would not permit to enter. It took about 10 minuets before he allowed me access to the hotel lobby. The system was updating, taking approximately another 45 minuets. No apologies, no key to my room, he escorted me. I requested the lift, he insisted the stairs were better. I had a 50 pound bag, a backpack, and another shopping bag. No offer to assist, he just walked up ahead of me with no interest of service.
At the room he apologized, after I requested a late checkout, he said he would tell the day desk manager to offer breakfast free. None of his words were true! Coming down at 11:30 am, I was informed checkout was 11:00, I requested a later checkout which was granted. No free meal. When I explained the occurrence, all I received was the desk manager shrugging her shoulders and I’m sorry!
