I had a truly awful experience at this hotel that I feel compelled to share. First off, it’s a money grab. Despite having paid a premium for the extra bed, the check-in process was humiliating. The receptionist, Jaeo, interrogated us about our booking and even tried to charge us extra. It was only after one of my family members overheard the mention of my gold status with a booking platform that they backed off. I can't imagine the nightmare it would have been without that VIP access.
The lobby had a terrible, moldy smell, but that was nothing compared to the room we were given. It was suffocatingly stinky, and the presence of a diffuser in that room made it clear they knew about the awful odor. My family members felt dizzy and nauseous from the air quality.
When we requested a room change, the staff initially insisted there were no better options. It wasn’t until they checked my account that they suddenly found a “new” room available. This kind of service is unacceptable, and I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. Save your money and your health—look elsewhere.
