Hotel is right in city center so convenient but very noisy outside on a Saturday evening until 12am and then suddenly very quiet. Parking is not convenient and guests might be better to pick a garage closer as even with reduced rate it was expensive

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the MacDonald Burlington Hotel. It is conveniently across the street from the train station, but the room is very quiet. It is central in town, making the walk to various tourist sites, restaurants, shopping, etc. easy. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Beautiful hotel - ensure you request quiet room

Lovely hotel. Stayed numerous times. Always had a great experience. We paid extra this weekend for 1 night and we were clearly on the noisy side of the hotel. The noise from music was horrendous. We did raise this at check out and was told next time we book to ring and state we would like a quieter room! Felt like I paid extra to have no sleep. That is my only moan.

Room fine but know your surroundings!

The room was clean, well-equipped and large so value for money in that respect. It appears to be the old Britannia Hotel and is looking a bit dated. Handy for the Central Station making it easy to get around but the immediate area is not particularly nice, especially later at night so be prepared and have your wits about you!

Big hotel

Big old hotel right in the heart of the city. Its a bit dated inside , rooms are good but lots of noise if your on the street side. Breakfast was excellent, lovely big bright room, good servce and tasty food. Overall an average hotel in a great spot.
