I've stayed here before and I will be staying here again in the future. I was a bit disappointed by the elevator not running this trip, but I was only on the second floor. Also, it was a bit noisy this time due to construction being done next door - but the work is going very fast and shouldn't be a problem for long. It's very close to some great quesadillas and very good restaurants.

We always love staying here. There are great restaurants across the street, a big grocery store down the street and the bus terminal minutes away. The rooms are nice and comfortable. This is my 4th or 5th time and I always stay here when I'm in Cancun.

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Luma by Kavia, and when I return to Cancun, I expect to book with them again. For those interested in traveling to Cancun for a "medical/dental vacation", this option is much less expensive than the hotel district, very quiet, and quite pleasant. Also, the surrounding restaurants and stores have better prices here. My favorite restaurants in the area were Gory Tacos (say hi to Bart) and Baovegan, an excellent vegan restaurant. Hotel was very clean and quiet.
