High Marks for This Hotel-Would Stay Here Again
This is a very fine hotel with very comfortable beds, clean nice bathroom, very good breakfast included, well maintained property. Also very close to shopping, restaurants, fast food, in a very clean beautiful city. Very nice employees.

Girls trip stop
This was a comfortable stop on our way back from the Grand Canyon - a girls trip. Everything was clean, comfortable, seemed new, good breakfast, and we enjoyed the pool. The only negative was the lack or limit of wifi, but otherwise it was a great stay.

We had a room with a king-size bedโthe bedframe base/cover was broken and super loud whenever there was any movement on the bed. Loud sleep. The only other room available had a much softer mattress, so we had to stay where we were for three nights. Exhausted.
We also had an incident with someone trying to gain entry into our room. Thankfully, we had the secondary lock on the door, but they managed to unlock the door and try to push it open--twice. When I reported to the front desk the following morning, they dismissed it as it was probably a staff member. " At 10 p.m.?"
When I reported to the manager via email upon checkout on Monday (she was out all weekend), she basically told me I was mistaken, as her logs didn't show any entry with the locks. Really?! Experienced traveler, and I know when someone is trying to enter the room. Unbelievable.
I've also never been told I was lying and "mistaken" because their logs didn't show any entries. What? There are no cameras, so they basically told me I was imagining things, and with a very strong implication that I made it up. Unreal. Avoid this property--completely mismanaged.

What I did not like was our original room had a really strong smell as if it been heavily sprayed with fabreeze to cover up a really bad smell, it did not work. We moved rooms to the second floor room 212 which did not smell, however the below the widow air conditioning was completely worn out. When ever the compressor switched on for cooling it was like having a diesel pickup next to the bed. Not one nights good sleep. The breakfast for the room price I did not expect a lot but synthetic eggs, micron thick bacon on one day only. Very poor. The competition is Holiday inn express and they win hands down. I would not stay here again

Shocking behavior from front desk staff โ completely unacceptable!
Iโve never had such a horrible experience at a hotel. The older woman at the front desk (white, heavy-set, with gray hair โ no name tag) was not just rude โ she was manipulative, aggressive, and verbally abusive in front of my young children.
She wonโt wear a name tag and wonโt give you her name, but her name is Toni. I spoke to a younger, kind lady at the front desk the following morning and she knew exactly who I was talking about and gave me her name. She told me I am not the first one to complain about her and that it is mandatory to wear a name tag.
My child was left crying, afraid we were going to be arrested โ all because of Toniโs lies and power-tripping.
This woman is toxic and unfit to be in hospitality. Based on other Google reviews, this isnโt an isolated incident. Hampton, do better. Guests deserve respect and basic decency โ not emotional manipulation and threats especially with YOUNG CHILDREN there!

reservation upset
first i am upset at hotels.com the hotel did not have my reservation, it took 3 trys before i was able to chat via email.
cant talk to a live person. so the hampton inn took me in and i had to pay there price because they only had 3 rooms left. so hotels.com emails me that they will charge me a cancellation chargse i told them to call the hotel, which they did and that i will not be charged a cancellation, and they will refund me back my charges.
i cant believe that i could not talk to a live person.
