I paid for late checkout after 2 nights stay. However, I was thrown from a horse and returned with a broken shoulder. I told the front desk I would need to extend my stay a few days to stabilize before the long flights bsck to Texas. Asked if a lower rate was possible, was told to just use Hotels.com to pay for the nights. No offer to help me either do that or get to my room. No offer of help the next morning as I attempted to get breakfast while in severe pain and a sling. Ordered Uber food the rest of the stay, stabilizing on pain pills. On the 5th day, I said I had paid for late checkout, but was told to pay another half day rate to stay until 6pm, 2 hours before myb flight. Again, no offers of help for anything, no one checked on me. The shuttle driver did bring my bags from my 4th floor room. This hotel was not booked solid. There was no reason not to be compassionate and give me a decent rate on the extension and the extra half day was extreme money-grubbing for nonreason. All in all, this stay cost over $1500 for 5 days. Good breakfast here, uncaring people.
