Just got back from our 5 night stay at the Villa Renaissance. We had villa 102, which was a 2 bdrm oceanfront unit. Here are the pros and cons of our stay - family of 3
Pros: spacious unit, full kitchen, excellent location on Grace Bay (breathtaking beach right in front), very convenient to a lot of restaurants, unit is very well kept, even though you can see it’s dated.
Cons: we experienced tons of mosquitoes in the stairwell, which came into the unit when the door opened (biting us all night). The front door had issues and was stuck all the time. My husband had to open it as I couldn’t due to how hard it had to be pulled. Main bedroom had a king bed and secondary bedroom had 2 twins. There was something up with the twin beds. They were LOUD anytime you turned. Maybe time for a new bed frame? The living room has a huge slider, which we hoped to keep open, but couldn’t because of the mosquitoes. Kitchen had a musty smell.. maybe from the dishwasher, seems pretty old.
Overall it was a decent property, but I wouldn’t stay there again, personal preference. Location was phenomenal though.
