Second time at Chogogo.. looking forward to my next trip! I’ll remember to bring a small bar of handsoap. There is none in the unit bathrooms. The staff at Sunset and Bina are amazing… service at the bar on the beach is pretty awful. I’ll just plan to eat at Sunset and Bina when I return!

Amazing location with snorkeling off the beach
We had a great time at Chogogo and absolutely loved being able to snorkel right off the property. Honestly, that's the best part of the property! The rooms are super modern and clean. The local staff in the restaurant and bar are super friendly. I've just booked a return trip for two months from now. One disappointment was that when I asked about whether a returning guest discount or code was available, I was told that the hotel offers a 10% discount (promotional code) for guests visiting in 3 months' time. I explained I wanted to return in 2 months' time! The reservations manager at the front desk told me, "Sorry. the discount is only available to guests booking 3 months out." That seems odd! I booked another visit to Chogogo but was disappointed there was absolutely no consideration for an enthusiastic, returning guest. My only other concerns are that the Resort providers no water as a 'welcome' and only 2 Nespresso pods during a 7 night stay! We were also told there would be housekeeping every three days, but during our Saturday to Saturday stay housekeeping cleaned our two-room apartment once. Last, we were initially in 8101 and 8102 on the ground floor. These rooms were sold as "ocean view" but had a view of lush landscaping. We asked to move to a true sea view apartment and the staff moved us to 4101 and 4102. I was very grateful that we were able to move to nicer rooms on our second full day.

Sehr schöne und grosse Hotel-Apartment-Anlage in der Nähe von Kralendijk, mit dem Auto ca. 7 Minuten in die Stadt-Mitte. Das Zimmer war gross und hatte sehr schönes Design. Der Balkon mit zwei Stühlen und einen kleinen Tisch war toll. Ein Wäscheständer war auch vorhanden. Unser Zimmer hatte Meersicht und wir konnten den Sonnenuntergang geniessen. Den Swimmingpool sowie die Kanäle haben wir nicht benützt. Das Meer ist so schön, sehr nah und das Wasser klar. Guter Einstieg über Steinplatten ins Meer, Wasserschuhe empfehlenswert. Man konnte schnorcheln, die Sicht war sehr gut. Es hatte zahlreiche bunte Fische aber leider sind fast alle Korallen in Strandnähe abgestorben. Das Personal war freundlich. Da das Hotel kinderfreundlich ist, kann es sein dass es ab und zu sehr lärmig und unruhig wird, wir haben es an einem Wochenende erlebt, unter der Woche war es wieder ruhig.

The resort was very clean throughout the entire property from the food & beverage outlets to all the commercial areas, to the pools & recreational areas and especially or room. The food and drink were delicious and convenient. The best thing about this property is the employees - they are absolutely service oriented and very friendly and accommodating.

It’s a nice and new resort. It has a quiet atmosphere and a nice snorkle and diving reef in front of it. The appartments have a small but practical kitchen. The only improvement which I think is needed is a ‘Do Not Disturb’ function on the doors. We had two instances where the cleaning staff walked in while we were sleeping which was a bit annoying. Other then that it comes recommended!

Perfect apartment-style housing for our family of four! Beach view from our balcony on the first floor was beautiful, with comfy patio chairs and a fan on the patio. We had ceiling fans in both rooms and great a/c. We had everything we needed in our joint rooms to cook for ourselves, plus there are three restaurants on site and additional restaurants within short walk or driving distance. Great dive center on site, very active artificial reef directly in front of hotel beach, with octopus. turtles, and tons of reef fish while we were there. All the staff spoke multiple languages, including English and Dutch at a minimum. Island was very safe, resort area felt very safe, and we had everything we needed. We would definitely return to Chocogo and Dive with Scuba Do.

Worst service at the main bar restaurant. Minimun 45-50 minutes for a simple drink everyday. They clean the room every 4 days.. which is terrible. Cleaning staff, main host were nice and welcoming. The location is great and the pool/ sea are great.

This resort was amazing! The lazy river was Top tier! It’s a very beautiful and modern resort. They got dining options insite the resort. The rooms were spacious and you got your own kitchenette and refrigerator. You can park easy and safe there. The staffs were oke but don’t go an extra mile for there clients. We needed to wait until check in time to get to our rooms even if the rooms we’re already cleaned.

Chogogo was a great place to holiday in Bonaire. Minimalistic but everything you need. Clean, good food, very pleasant staff. Pools were warm, lots of beach lounges and never a fight for shade. 15 min to airport and 10 min to town so great location. I would not hesitate to recommend and would definitely go back.

I like the Dutch & the relaxed speed & atmosphere of the resort & Island as a whole. The staff was great especially Jack the Chief Engineer. He was open & gave us some great ideas & info about the island. The path past Between 2 Buns to the shore line walk to town was great cardio exercise for myself & my wife every morning, to start our day. Bani was a fabulous way to watch a sunset & enjoy a gourmet dinner w/ a family grown wine from the owners vineyards. Weather was dynamite & the pool refreshing. We’re already planning a return vacation in March “To Chogogo(Baby Flamingo)”. My new favorite secret destination. Plus as an American I Tip & was treated like CAPTAIN AMERICA. I loved it thanks for an A1 Holiday, as the Dutch would say😎

Chogogo was a beautiful, clean resort with restaurants and beach bar onsite. It was also nice to have the ability to make meals in the room as well with the cooktop, refrigerator and equipment in the room. We loved our ocean view room! Parking was easily found on the resort. The snorkeling off the resort was wonderful and it was nice to have the option of the pool as well. The location is good for exploring both sides of the island. Be sure to bring a converter for outlets if coming from the US or UK! Overall this was a wonderful place to stay and I highly recommend it to anyone going to Bonaire!
