If you prioritise location, this is a great spot. Easy to walk to much of Manhattan from here. It is very much a place to lay your head and not much else.
The staff are mixed, some are very helpful and welcoming but others are extremely nonchalant. I'm not a particularly needy guest, but asking where I could get water at 6:30am when the hotel had no amenities at that time, was given the biggest eyeroll. I was told I could fill up from a fountain in the basement....alas no cups available.
The main foyer is extremely dark, like the opposite of Vegas, it's always night time here. Rooms are decent size but style over comfort, with furniture and decor all a bit tired now.
