For the price, we expect better service.
Lovely location and really enjoyed having the privacy and access to the hot tub. Beds were also comfy. Sadly check-in and services really let this down. These are unstaffed, and the hotel that they are managed by had no on-site staff. upon arrival we had to ring a number of people to access the room and the check-in process we received was the out-of-hours experience. Additionally cleaning / refilling the room was not done despite a 3 night stay. We ran out of toilet roll and had to provide our own. And one small towel per person wasn't really adequate knowing people would regularly be using the hot tubs. A doormat would also help not tread ice into the room. For the price, we expect better service.

Best hotel / hot tub combo!!
Amazing stay for our first time in Iceland, booked the room with a hot tub and it was definitely worth it! Full kitchen area to prepare meals was handy with a working oven and stove top. Bed was the comfiest we have ever slept on!! Clean and modern room with no issues at all! Very quite where the accommodation is located so would definitely recommend hiring a car to make your stay that much more enjoyable when driving to and from the town rather than paying for taxi’s which was around £20-£25 one way depending where you went into town. Couldn’t recommend this property highly enough, smooth check in with our passcode for the room key sent in good time before we checked in. Fresh towels, bath robes and coffee pods for the machine were dropped off every morning around 10-11am. The hot tub was perfect, lovely and warm and the view of the northern lights each night made it worth every penny, watching them from the hot tub! Will definitely be returning to this hotel!

Snow, lights and adventure!
Our experience was incredible! The check in was simple and the location easy to find. The rooms are incredibly clean and well maintained, the hot tub was hot on arrival. The views from the room are some of the best we have seen with snowy mountains and even got to see the Aurora! We couldn’t of asked for a better stay or experience.

Nice stay. However, please empty garbage at leats every second day, especially when they are overflowing. Also, with four people staying un a unit at a time, you need to consider a few extra things.: 1) more dishes and cutlery, 4 of each is not enough. 2) places to hang clothing or towels....there is barely anything in the entire unit and certainly nothing in the room with twin beds. 3) put a mat of some sort near the deck door for when coming in from the hot tub. 4) more than 1 dishtowel, please. 5) more hangers and 6) more hooks near the entrance for coats please. We loved the lighting and the modern feel to the unit, but we were missing the basics to make the stay complete. There is nowhere to even place your luggage if you are not in the king size bedroom. Add tables or luggage holders please.

Such a great new property with private hot tub and a good view for northern lights. The room is very new and clean with a kitchen as well. Everything is perfect except the bathroom. The shower area is the biggest downside. The drain doesn’t work well for both of our rooms. Water overflows out of the shower area into the living room/bedroom after a minute of showering, which makes it a huge problem. We had to use the shower towels to stop the water from going outside the bathroom. The drainage just doesn’t work. I don’t understand why Icelanders would build their bathing area in this stupid design, no door no drainage. The sink is small and useless so we basically only used the kitchen sink. Fix the bathroom please, it’s the only con. The host communicates very well and timely by the way.

Wow! Beautiful place and it seems like they've thought of everything for the guest experience. We honestly did not want to leave. Beautiful view. We were fortunate to see the northern lights right from the hot tub as well! They had all the kitchen items you'd need, plus a grill that you can use right next to your hot tub.

Favourite place we stayed in all of Iceland. Hot tub was amazing, kitchen and bathroom amazing. Balcony/porch has a gorgeous view of the mountains. Only thing that could be better was the beds (although nice) were insanely soft and actually hurt the body after a couple nights but still appreciated them

AMAZING! The private hot tub on the balcony is the best place to watch northern lights. The property is very clean- clearly brand new as they are still working on a few things. Great location, very easy to get to down town. Beds were very comfy. One small thing we ran into was only getting two towels for the shower. It would have been nice to have two additional towels for the hot tub, so we’d recommend asking for extras or bringing your own.
